PogoTrades Changelog

Major feature launches, trading workflow changes, community improvements, and platform milestones—documented publicly so trainers can see how PogoTrades is evolving.

How the historical dates were reconstructed

Historical entries are backfilled from repository commit and merge history. Dates use the clearest Git milestone date in UTC and represent a public product milestone, not necessarily the first internal line of code.

Homepage rewritten around the connected PogoTrades platform

PogoTrades replaced a tool-first homepage narrative with a connected trading and collector workflow that exposes the product systems built across discovery, coordination, trust, collecting, and sharing.

Reframed the homepage around Organize, Find, Coordinate, Build Trust, and Collect & Share.
Made Smart Matches, Regional Trade Finder, Match Alerts, Trade Proposals, Trade Journey, Trader Reputation, Collector Profiles, live Trade Demand, Discord, and sharing workflows visible from the homepage.
Connected homepage claims directly to authoritative feature guides, Product Demos, the Changelog, and About/trust definitions.
Kept live World Storage and community surfaces as product evidence while separating them from fictional public demo data.
Expanded homepage SEO, FAQ content, and WebApplication structured data to describe the full platform rather than a narrow list-generator or friend-finder toolset.
Platform

Public product demo gallery

PogoTrades made account-dependent workflow states publicly inspectable through clearly labeled fictional demos without exposing or mutating real trainer data.

Added a public demo gallery for Collector Profiles, Trader Reputation, Trade Proposals, Trade Journey, and Match Alerts.
Reused the production Collector Profile and Trader Reputation display components with fictional sample fixtures.
Added a read-only demo mode to the production Trade Proposal card so proposal states can be shown without API mutations.
Added read-only Trade Journey and Match Alert presenters that explain protected workflow states without making authenticated API calls.
Linked feature methodology pages, About, Features, Footer, sitemap, server SEO, and machine-readable product facts to the demo gallery.
Platform

Canonical About, trust definitions, and live platform facts

PogoTrades turned its About page into the canonical factual source for platform identity, trust terminology, verification limits, and current activity counts.

Defined PogoTrades publicly as an independent Pokemon GO trading and collector platform.
Added live database-backed counts for Storage entries, Wishlist entries, distinct trainers with listings, and bilaterally completed trades.
Published narrow definitions for Smart Match, Completed Trade, Trader Reputation, Remote-friendly, Recently active, and Smooth Trade Endorsement.
Made independence, Pokemon GO account separation, bilateral-completion limits, and in-game eligibility boundaries explicit.
Added AboutPage and FAQ structured data, sitemap visibility, and machine-readable trust facts.
Platform

Public feature guides and changelog

PogoTrades made its major trading systems easier to understand publicly instead of leaving the strongest workflows hidden behind signed-in product screens.

Added a public Features hub and dedicated guides for Collector Profiles, Trade Journey, Trader Reputation, Match Alerts, Regional Trade Finder, and Trade Proposals.
Expanded Smart Matches into an authoritative public product page with the compatibility formula, matching identity rules, filters, sorting, and Match Alerts relationship.
Added server-rendered metadata, structured data, sitemap coverage, and machine-readable product facts for the new public feature documentation.
Added this public changelog and historical backfill so major product development is visible over time.
