Response behavior
Up to 35 points
Uses the share of eligible inbound direct conversations that received a reply.
Trader Reputation turns recorded PogoTrades behavior into useful context: completed trades, responsiveness, follow-through, activity, account age, proposal history, and Smooth Trade Endorsements.
Trader Reputation is behavioral context. It does not verify identity, perform a background check, guarantee a safe trade, or replace your own judgment.

Example Trader Reputation
Confirmed complete by both trainers.
11 of 12 inbound chats answered.
Median first-reply time on answered conversations.
1 accepted trade currently classed as stalled.
This trainer has marked themselves as actively trading.
Time since this PogoTrades account was created.
1 cancelled of 8 non-pending proposals they initiated.
Positive-only endorsements from counterparties after a trade was confirmed complete by both trainers.
Stalled trades are accepted proposals with no chat or Trade Journey activity for 30+ days.
This example uses the same Trader Reputation component as the live product. The values are illustrative but internally consistent with the current reputation rules.
Compare public reputation demo statesWhat the score means
The numerical score is intentionally based on behavior PogoTrades can observe directly. It combines response behavior, confirmed-trade volume, follow-through, recent activity, and account age. The score is hidden while the evidence sample is too small.
Up to 35 points
Uses the share of eligible inbound direct conversations that received a reply.
Up to 20 points
Uses trades that reached PogoTrades completed status after both participants confirmed the exchange.
Up to 20 points
Uses completed trades versus accepted trades that became genuinely stalled. Smaller samples use a conservative completion fallback.
Up to 10 points
Adds activity context when the trainer has been active on PogoTrades within the last seven days.
Up to 15 points
Adds gradual account-history context up to the full contribution at 180 days.
The score stays hidden until completed trades plus eligible inbound conversation opportunities provide at least three evidence points. PogoTrades does not assign a low score simply because an account is new.
Published metrics
PogoTrades can calculate some signals with very little history, but the public reputation card deliberately waits for minimum samples before publishing rates that could otherwise be misleading.
Counts proposals in completed status with a completion timestamp. PogoTrades completion itself requires confirmation from both trainers.
Always visible as a countMeasures answered inbound direct conversations. A message sent before the first inbound message does not count as a response to that conversation.
Published after 3 inbound samplesUses the median first-reply time across answered conversations rather than an average that can be distorted by outliers.
Published after 3 inbound samplesCompares completed trades with stalled accepted trades to show whether agreed trades tend to keep progressing.
Published after 3 completed/stalled samplesLooks only at resolved proposals initiated by that trainer. Rejections and counteroffers are not treated as cancellations.
Published after 5 resolved initiated proposalsPositive-only endorsements that can be added by the counterparty after a trade was confirmed complete by both trainers.
Count is visible; does not change the scoreFollow-through
PogoTrades only considers an accepted proposal for the stalled-trade signal. It looks at proposal response time, conversation activity, and Trade Journey activity; if the latest qualifying activity is more than 30 days old, that accepted trade can be classified as stalled.
Completed trades ÷ (completed trades + stalled accepted trades). The public rate waits until there are at least three completed/stalled samples.
Responsiveness
Each direct conversation can create one response opportunity from its first inbound text message. PogoTrades then looks for the trainer's first text reply at or after that message.
Answered inbound conversations ÷ eligible inbound conversations.
Median first-reply time across answered conversations.
Trader Reputation Badges
These are different from Collector Badges. Trader Reputation Badges describe trading behavior and completed-trade history rather than what kind of Pokemon someone collects.
Score 75+, 3+ completed trades, 3+ response samples, at least 70% response rate, and acceptable stalled-trade history once enough follow-through data exists.
10+ trades confirmed complete by both trainers.
3+ completed trades when the Established Trader threshold has not yet been reached.
5+ response samples, at least 80% response rate, and a median first reply of 6 hours or less.
5+ Smooth Trade Endorsements from completed-trade counterparties.
Smooth Trade Endorsements
An endorsement can only be added by one of the two trade participants after the proposal has reached completed status. Each reviewer gets one endorsement for that trade, and can remove it later.
They are shown separately as counterpart social proof. Five endorsements unlock the Smooth Trader badge.
Trader Reputation FAQ
Trader Reputation is a behavior-based summary built from activity recorded on PogoTrades, including completed trades, direct-message response behavior, follow-through, recent activity, account age, proposal history, and Smooth Trade Endorsements.
No. Trader Reputation is behavioral context, not identity verification, a background check, or a guarantee that a trade is safe.
The score stays in a neutral Building reputation state until there are at least three combined evidence points from completed trades plus eligible inbound conversation opportunities.
The current score combines response behavior, completed-trade volume, trade follow-through, recent activity, and account age. Smooth Trade Endorsements and proposal cancellation rate are displayed as additional context but are not score inputs.
PogoTrades classifies an accepted proposal as stalled when its latest qualifying activity—proposal response, conversation activity, or Trade Journey activity—is more than 30 days old.
Each direct conversation with an inbound text message creates one response opportunity. PogoTrades checks whether the trainer sent a text reply at or after that first inbound message. Response rate is answered opportunities divided by total opportunities.
PogoTrades uses the median time from the first inbound text message to the trainer's first reply in answered conversations.
After both participants confirm a trade complete, either participant can give the other a positive Smooth Trade Endorsement. A participant can add only one endorsement for that trade, and it can be removed later.
No. Endorsements provide separate social proof and can unlock the Smooth Trader badge after five endorsements, but they are not part of the numerical score formula.
The strongest signals are produced naturally as trainers message, accept proposals, keep Trade Journeys active, confirm completed trades, and endorse smooth exchanges.
